Some advice for India
Unlike many travel agents and on-line tour booking companies, we have travelled extensively in India in a desire to learn more and provide our clients with the best that we can offer
- from our own personal experiences.
Our knowledge has come from regularly attending Indian travel marts - such as Tres 2019, GITB, SATTE, KTM, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh - from sponsored educational/familiarisation tours and from our own personal travels, either as a wife/husband team or leading a group.
In the course of our travels, we have explored the well-known, famous sites such as the Taj Mahal, Varanasi, Amritsar, Rajasthan, etc. as well as visiting many of India's numerous National Parks, in our quest to see its unique fauna and flora. We have used trains, buses, and domestic airlines.
Our travels have taken us from Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in the south; to Assam and Meghalaya in NE India (and its fascinating tribal mix); to Odisha in the east; to river cruises on the Ganges and Brahmaputra; to Rajasthan in the west; and to Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh in the north.
We have even broadened our knowledge of the sub-continent with visits to Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
There is always much more to see!
Here are some of the things
that we have learned:
